This antique pietra dura 10K gold brooch features a charming combination of Victorian Scottish agates, including classic banded and white agates from Fife, green and red speckled bloodstones from the Isle of Rum, and orange jaspers from the campsie Fells in Stirlingshire. The agates are expertly set flush in an elaborately engraved gold frame, with a support stone and large section of polished Scottish agate on the back. The brooch is secured with a tubular hinge and c-clasp closure, complete with an extended pin. This is truly a one-of-a-kind antique Scottish piece.
