Cara China Company began in 1945, with much of their product being exported abroad. The post war era was the perfect time for something light-hearted and pretty, and colorful floral china jewelry, despite its fragility, was the solution. 

This vintage brooch (probably made in the late 1940s-1950s) is made three petite flowers, a yellow, a pink and a multi colored on, all sitting on green leaves. It is in very good condition, and measures 1.5” across at the widest point. On the back is a round metal plaque with both the clasp and “Cara China Stafford shire” and “Made in England” in all capital letters.
